Flying the flag

There were lots of jubilee celebrations around school today including a picnic organised by some of the parents, so I went along armed with my camera. I saw a little girl walking around waving a flag in front of a larger Union Jack that had been draped across a hedge and thought it would be perfect for today's blip (asked her mum first of course). Everyone seemed to be in good spirits today which was nice, especially as I forgot to move my car from the parking area before the school buses arrived. This would normally result in a stern ticking off - but not today! Phew! Like a true Brit I rustled up my best jubilee smile and offered profuse apologies. Seemed to do the trick!
