One species each day (from my backyard)

It was a sunny Sunday and I was home, so I tried a close-up of one of the species in my backyard using natural light. This Viola tricolor grows right next to the Viola I uploaded a few days ago and makes a strong contrast with it so it attracted my attention. In fact I had wanted to take it's picture when I took the other one, but the other one was positioned more conveniently that day. I put the camera on a flat piece of bamboo floor off-cut on the ground between the other weeds, and positioned it with some small rocks to get the flower in focus.
