Sooner her than me!

This is a friend of ours who has done an abseil in memory of her Grandfather. It would have been his 90th birthday and she did it to raise money for dialysis patients.
She did it from the Northampton Lift Tower which is 127m (418ft) high and is a regular spot for people who wish to abseil.
Originally built to test lifts for the Express Lift Company, it was opened by the Queen in 1982 and is now a listed building. It stopped functioning as a test tower in 1997 when Express Lifts was taken over by Otis.
