wake up call

We were planning to sleep in this morning, but at 6:30 am the tree outside our window burst into a cacophony of angry crows. I could also hear Magpie cries in the midst of it all, so I figured it was just a turf fight. After a few minutes, I realized sleeping in was not going to happen so I got up to look out the window.
And this is what I saw. Both the crows and Magpies were attacking a Great Horned Owl!
After taking a few shots through the window, I went outside for a better view, and of course they all flew off.
