Surprise

on the Kennet and Avon canal :)

I've never seen ducklings or goslings on the canal before, but today I saw some of both.  These have a family of seven goslings all told :)

There were also two sets of ducklings, one was obviously older than the other trio which are in my extras today :)

I had a lazy morning, then walked to the park (because I expected parking to be busy) for a 'Pentecost in the Park' Service arranged by Churches together in Newbury.  

It was colder than yesterday and I wished I'd taken my scarf again, but at least it didn't rain :)

Afterwards I walked along the canal a bit where I spotted the older duckling, then the babies and finally the goslings which had to be my blip today...although I struggled to get any colour because of the dull weather and used picasa to adjust the shots slightly.

Chilling out for the rest of the day I think, so glad its a bank holiday weekend :)
