First Rose of Summer

This is the first rose to open in our garden. It and its 3 siblings are just inside our front gate, highly scented and blooming all through summer, they we're one of the first plant I bought when we moved in 19 yeas ago.

In other news, our two cats Mittz and Pebbz had a visit from Mummy Laura who rehoused the cats with us 4 years ago when Daddy Steve had bad cat related asthma attacks. I should have blipped her with the cats but I was so absorbed in how happy she was to see her "girls". She still misses them so much and took loads of photos of them.
