Wee lamb

We had a lovely walk to Lower Slaughter this morning with Paul and Val and managed to dodge the showers. We saw this little lamb taking its first steps, it had been born 20 minutes previously and Mum was still cleaning it when we caught up with the dog walkers who pointed it out. We watched them for about ten minutes and it was nice to see the wee scrap pull himself onto his feet and then we saw Mum lie down again and pass and eat the placenta. (This was at the max of my Sony zoom.)

At the time of writing only Admirer spotted Robin in the water, under the bridge in yesterday's blip!
