MYSTERY SHRUB?

Probably pass by this amazing shrub three times a week... Today was the first time it attracted my attention - normally I'm too preoccupied judging the changing lights so I don't have to hang around with a heavy carrier bag waiting for the little green man to cross Boulevard Anspach for the Metro station.

Its leaves range from rust to a super dark purply maroon & the flowers are veritable explosions of minute primrose yellow five-pointed stars with egg-yolk centres.

Always grateful to be shocked out my GOF complaisance by something wonderful :o)
