Musical wall

In an attempt to make my last nine weeks worth of Swiss blips interesting (it's getting hard particularly during the week), I decided to have a theme this week. There's a lot of interesting wall art around Basel so I'm going to take advantage of the longer days and snap an out-of-the-ordinary wall on my way home from placement. This week is mainly finishing my placement report/dissertation so there's not much to say.

This is the back wall of Basel theatre and is opposite the Elizabethan Kirche. The series of lines and dots is actually some simplified music notation. Can you guess the tune?

The different reactions I've seen when taking musician and non-musician friends to see it has been rather amusing - from indifference to knowing the piece before I've asked!
