Here we have Earl looking very "serious" indeed!! He's having a wee sniff about for Sooty. Unlike Sooty he's an indoor cat, but I let him have a wee potter about the patio if I'm grooming him. He's been fretting a bit for Sooty and making funny noises looking around the house, it's quite sad. Although Sooty was outdoors alot he always looked forward to her coming in parts of the day or the evenings to see what she had been up to. He senses her gone, of course he does they've been part of each other's lives for 14 years.....
