No sleep time!

Today was ‘big long walk Sunday’.  I’ve had no sleep time at all today.


First thing this morning I went for a trek around town.  It was very damp and a bit mizzly & drizzly but Ann said, ‘Molly, it’s big long walk Sunday.  We’re going to go to the Lizard and do a big long walk.’

The plan was.................... buy pasties at 'Ann's pasty shop' for our lunch.  Ann’s pasties are very yummy.  I know because I’ve had little titbits of pasty from there before.  But do you know what?........................  When we got to the pasty shop there was a sign saying, ‘Closed, pasty’s sold out.’  Boohoooo!

Anyway we trekked around the coast path to Lizard Point.  And I found mud.  Yay!  And then the humans had a pasty in the little cafe there.  But I didn’t even get as much as a tiny little morsel.  Boohoo!

Continued on our walk along the coastal path to Kynance Cove and then back across the fields to Lizard village where the humans had lemon cake.  And I didn’t get any of that either.  Boohoo!

I got my dinner when we got home but I didn’t want it because Ann’s friend, Catherine, is staying with us and I always do ‘leaping around & showing off’ things when we have visitors.

And then we had another little walk into town where the humans had a couple of glasses of wine and some very tasty ‘smidgens’ at the ‘Beach Cafe Bar’.

Home now.  Tired.  Off on another big walk tomorrow.  Yay!
