St Abbs Village from St Abbs Head
T and I did another birding expedition, this time to St Abbs Head in East Berwickshire. The cliffs there had a great selection of birds: huge numbers of guillemots standing so close to each other on the cliffs that it amazed us that they didn't fall off; razor bills in their ultra smart black with white lines like Darth Vader; cormorants; fulmars and also kittiwakes galore. We sat in the sun by Mire Loch on our return and saw swans, coots, a little grebe and two mystery birds, possibly a pair of Scaup.
This view is better large.
