Season over

The last Match of the Day on TV for another season. Love the opening credits here featuring my boyhood hero, George Best. My best friend lived just down the road from him in Manchester and got his autograph for me which I still treasure. I moved to London in the mid 1960s and my support switched to Chelsea during the period when Bonetti was in goal and the likes of Houseman, Hollins, Graham, Osgood and Venables were lighting up the First Division. York City has call on my support now but Chelsea have been my other club since the 60s, so it was good to see them lift the Premiership trophy tonight.
