Quick walk around the local fishing lakes yesterday brought me a sight of a Great Crested grebe , busily going about it's business, swimming, fishing, the regular things you would expect...

It then went into a full set of ablutions, (Images available here), washing with gusto, and finishing with a Cormorant like display posture, without the benefit of a post or similar as used by the cormorant
