Under the bridge.......

was where I was when I shot this.
Had to go to Fremantle this morning, stopped at the Fremantle Traffic Bridge.  This is looking straight up at the jarrah logs and trusses that hold the thing up.  The noise of the big trucks rumbling overhead was quite disconcerting. Not something you think about as you drive over............
The bridge was completed in 1939 and apparently the wood is still in really good nick!!  Jarrah from the SW forests - good, strong, tough wood!
