Weir

On returning home from church on Sunday I had a lazy afternoon, watching football on TV and trying to summon the enthusiasm for going out for a walk. Finally, with the clock nearing 7pm, I drove over to Larbert to have a stroll along the short woodland path from the railway viaduct, alongside the River Carron towards the weir. 

The earlier wind had dropped, thankfully, and it was a pleasant Sunday stroll in the evening sun. For all that this path is relatively close to where I live it was the first time I had done this walk.
