Hunterston A Nuclear Power Station

The power station shut down some years ago and has been decommissioned, all the fuel removed etc.

The long low building was the turbine hall with the turbo generators and the tall buildings housed the Reactors and steam raising units ie. the boilers.

I believe that the Turbines  and Generators were sold off.  The Cores of the two reactors will be there for a long time, nobody will want them!!
