Blackbird
I've been watching the blackbirds all week, and they're quite amusing running to and fro with beaks full of worms; I assume they have a large family to feed. On the whole they're quite wary of any sudden movement or shadow and they spend a lot of time hopping in the opposite direction to the nest, then when they think the coast is clear scarpering for dear life under the shrubs and into the nest. I caught this male here trying to look nonchalant - as if he's nothing more pressing on his mind than taking the fresh air; you and I know different!
