Holding back the trees

We had a walk around Rudyard Lake this morning ( Kipling was named after this lake) and watched these people getting their craft out of the water. I thought the house looked almost overtaken by the huge bank of trees behind - just held back by the colourful rhododendron. And it was cold - again!.
