Soggy tits of the baby kind

Today started with a trip to the cinema to watch Snow White and the Huntsman, we went in under a grey sky and came out to poring rain. So that put an end to the idea of an afternoon walk. Home we went for lunch, hot rolls, cheeses, meats and salad, very yummy.

After lunch i braved the elements for top up the bird food in the garden. As i got to the edge of the path a baby gold finch was chasing his mother, what a cutie i thought then i thought where is my camera. So off i ran inside, picked up my camera and ran back out only to realise my battery was still on charge in the room. By the time i got it together baby goldie had disappeared. But then i had 3 baby blue tits and a baby great tit in the garden.

After standing in the rain taking a few pics i thought i had better sit in the shed and watch through the window. It was fun to watch the baby bluetits sit in the tree about 3 feet away from me in the tree, one even had 40 winks. The weather and the light was awful so unfortunately the images are not that good, shame really as they were so cute.
