Vincent van Gogh

We had a lovely day in Nuenen with our dear friends S&N.

A lot of chatting and we enjoyed a delicious dinner.

The village of Nuenen is famous because of Vincent van Gogh.

He lived and worked there from December 5th, 1883 until November 24th, 1885.

In this period he lived in this house (photo), where he painted among others his famous painting  “The Potato Eaters”.
