View from Leckie Estate
Some regular readers of my journal will be aware that I have made comments several times about the scale of tree felling on some of our local walks.
We did the walk on Leckie Estate in early March and since then fairly large areas have been felled. Of course it looks untidy but as a recent trip to Loch Lubnaig ,showed, there are positives. This view of the hills has opened up - ben Lomond on the left, The Arrochar Alps just visible in the distance, Ben Venue in the centre and the snow tipped Munros around Crianlarich also in the pictureThere must be a fair number of Munros visible from this walk.
