Toddler in chains

Trying on the manacles at the whipping post at Stansted Mountfitchet castle. The peacocks were something of note - fascinating but terrifying at times when they screeched too loud out of sight. He liked climbing up all the towers. And feeding the deer. Personally I was most interested to see a photo of the castle from the 60s to see just how little actual castle remained! And the toy museum up the back was equal parts interesting and freaky. A better afternoon than yesterday but still descending to wailing at every frustration!
