Only in Hebden Bridge

do you see a diagonal bridge.....

This is over the Rochdale canal, at the Todmorden end of Hebden Bridge. The water ways and steep terrain in HB ( centre of the universe according to fellow blipper Midgeholedave) always make for interesting photos.

After a wander around Hebden Bridge and a good nosey around in the flea market there, we went over to Gordon Riggs Garden Centre in Todmorden for a coffee.... stupidly forgot that Bank Holiday Monday is one of the busiest days for people to go Garden Centre shopping! There were two lovely old steam traction engines in the car park but   too many people around them to get a good photo, though I see Midgeholedave passed later one and got a good one.

For a Bank Holiday at least it hasn't  rained but like several days this weekend it only got out sunny as the evening wore on, which did mean we had a lovely walk up on the moor with Reggie whilst mum and dad have gone over to Silsden to see my uncle. Hoping to do the wedding dress  exhibition at Cliffe Castle tomorrow.
