Bank holiday

Not a great bank holiday weekend by any means.

We've spent a few hours every day at the Wisdom Hospice visiting my uncle, he isn't in there 'to die' he just needed oxygen and guess what... McDonald's is open 24 hours over the bank holiday but not an oxygen company, they had their 3 days off. What is wrong with this country?!?!

We went for lunch at bluewater with some of Tims friends today, a carby lunch was not on my slimming world agenda for today but hey Ho.

Half term this week and a positive of working in education- a week off. More visits to the hospice, walking every evening with Tim as well as running every day. A friend and I are tempted to sign up for a half marathon in October.... watch this space
