Viper moray

There aren't many holidays where you have to get up at 6am. But, it's still worth it and we're sitting by the pool in the afternoon for a couple of hours and ready for sleep by 9pm so there's still plenty of relaxation going on.

Today's two dives were again remarkably warm with my 12mm or so of insulation. Rich is now the one ready to return to the boat first, not me.  We saw plenty today including two viper moray which live in deep, dark holes. I just love them for their extraordinarily fierce looks; two octopus;  some lovely little blue shrimps dancing on an urchin; a whopping Seven Eleven crab, named for its 7 conspicuous spots on the front of it's shell and a further four along the back edge; a sleek barracuda; and a beautiful if a little unusual looking scrawled filefish... Strange for its compressed but long and deep body.

On top of that, some lovely lava structures including a pretty arch and plenty of nudibranch (sea slugs of the prettiest shapes, colours and sizes... You'd actively encourage them in your garden!)

We're diving on Nitrox for our last three consecutive days of diving (with a higher concentration of oxygen than air) in the hope that it keeps the tiredness a little at bay which we both seem to suffer from. Still seem as tired tonight though!

This afternoon, a coffee at our favourite coffee bar, a read by the pool, a 10-minute snooze and another meal at Bubba Gumps. Diary. Bed!
