Who are you looking at?

As I drove to a course measurement this morning I saw this Muscovony Duck sitting on a wall.

At first I thought it was ornamental, but then it moved ☺.

It seemed an odd place for a nest as there are steps beside the wall.

I concluded it was just having a peruse of its surroundings, and apart from the "Who are you looking at?" expression, it wasn't at all perturbed by my presence.

Whilst I was measuring I also spotted a pair of Canada geese with their goslings, and a pair of swans with signers.
