Gently down the stream

Snow in summer

Hello, lovely people, a bit late blipping tonight, I'm afraid.  Spent rather a long time making a mess of redesigning my garden today, so didn't get out with the camera until early evening.

Anyway, this is my nearest short walk - also my favourite, though it's been several weeks since I was last here and just look what's happened in the mean time.  The hawthorn is in full flood, as is the cow parsley (Queen Anne's lace, I think you American folks call it) and the elder bushes are just starting to show white as well.  Where I am walking is literally straight through the cow parley (along the dark line) in front of the lens.  I nearly called this blip 'Bridal', but then you might have thought I was building up a theme for the week - that's something I find it impossible to do.

Oh, dear, I'm blathering, I can hear it inside my head, so perhaps I'd better finish this post and go see your inspirational journals  xx
