Pink Oriental Poppy

Had a lovely day off and spent the majority of it sat up on Sewerby cliffs reading my book and watching the world go by. I have now almost finished book II of my trilogy!

Sadly it was alot cooler today and the sun didn't shine so brightly, but it didn't rain and that's what's important on a 'bank' holiday.

I hope the majority of you managed to get it off, as I know that employers were advised that today was 'optional'!

Took this picture in my front garden. I have a huge poppy plant bursting at the seams with flowers and this is one of the first to come through. It's a bit different with being pink instead of the usual red.
