We hadn't really gotten a chance to see Salento when we arrived last night because it was so late, but this morning we quickly realised how cool the little town was. It was surrounded by huge valleys and coffee fincas and filled with colourful buildings and cool shops and restaurants. This is the view of the main square, where we had a coffee at Salento's best cafe, Jesus Martin. We explored for the rest of the day and then moved to La Serrana, our new hostel which was about a 20 minute walk from town. The hostel was filled with comfy couches and homely decor and had even more spectacular views than Salento town itself. We had dinner in the hostel and waited for Josie to arrive at around 9.
