Once in a lifetime...

Well, today was the last day of the Queens Celebrations and my boy decided to wave his flag loud and proud.

It got me thinking, unless the Queen and Prince Charles pop their cloggs in the next couple of weeks we won't see this again in our lifetime... And not even in Seth's lifetime, which is exactly why I sat through hours of Church service, concert flashbacks, shots of people munching smoked salmon and horses pooing on streets that had only been cleaned hours earlier (I'm a mum. I look at poo. What can you do?). Was it worth it... Well, I came, I saw, I'm glad it's done with.

Long live Queenie (seeing as we won't get another long bank holiday for another jubilee she may as well stick around eh?).
