Long Mynd Day 4

It was a grey and cold Bank Holiday Monday up here but the sky brightened considerably when the hang gliders got going on the other side of the hill with their colourful duvets (parachute rigs) and despite the dismal weather the gliders were also able to launch so a good day was had by all.  The wind was really cold but I had a good walk, saw more Skylarks, Chaffinch and a Wren who perched a while just outside the caravan, not long enough do me to get the camera out though.

Footnote:  there was a glider trailer reversing competition this morning and Mr T was miffed as he didn't win this year - A visiting glider pilot won by a mile!!!
