Turkish Breakfast!

When you walk in the hills behind the Kas (Turkey) coastline here, you often come across grazing tortoises, definitely not something you see in Switzerland. Intriguing to think that this little lady and her ancestors roam the same valley through which Alexander the Great marched his mighty armies.
This morning I was on a "bug safari" on the high plateau inland from Kas (see the collection here if you like butterflies, ants and bees- https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/ I put one in extra photos as I would dearly like it identifying, I can't find it on the internet) but Mme Tortoise needed to be blipped.
