Counterpart

Spent a wonderful day at Chatsworth with G on Saturday.  There was an art exhibition running throughout the house called Make Yourself Comfortable at Chatsworth, consisting of seating that is both practical and artistic. The photo above is part of a piece called Counterpart by Tom Price, which consists of a dark block and light block of seating.  The close up of a small section of the resin block shows how chance is an essential element in the creative process.  

I've also included an extra more traditional view of part of the garden at Chatsworth.  It was a great day of experimenting with our camera settings, somewhere where there is so much to capture, and comparing notes on the effects we got across our different cameras.
