I was allowed into the restricted area behind the Tokai manor house this afternoon, to deliver some papers.  I wished I had my camera with me as the burnt trees in the arboretum looked so sad and yet so beautiful on this wet afternoon.  
Such an exciting day as we managed to persuade a funder to increase the extent of previous offer and now our pilot study is on it's way.
And ... the drought has broken ... lots of beautiful, soaking rain through the night and day.    I'm feeling very happy xxx.
