Four Stone Walls
Yorkshire has, somewhat unfortunately as pilots, some stunning stone walls. Quite what they are feeding the sheep that these need to be nearly 6' tall I'm not sure!
A tough day getting away from Wether Fell with lots of close quarters scrabbling over weak broken lift. Eventually escaped with R at way lower than would normally be the case. As with most pilots at this stage it was anything to get away from the melee on the hill.
Mainly drifted down Wensleydale in a couple of patches of weak lift before landing in what was actually a nice field. Not very far, probably average for the day.
The stone walls were definitely too tall for comfort though.
Last comp day tomorrow, maybe flying, maybe not.
