While my Mum was up here for a few days we went and visited one of the local Retirement Villages. This one was lovely and we met several residents who were most helpful and informative, providing my Mum with tales of first-hand experiences of life here. Particularly charming was Betty, who we'd never met before. I was put in touch with Betty by a lady from my office, who knows her from her church, and knows that Betty lives at this village. So we met up with Betty and she was an absolute angel, showing us all around and introducing us to so many people.

But would this Village suit Mum?
