Scum
After a long day at work it was great to come home and see that a combination of politics, local government, the police and a caring neighbour (moi) can work...
Some mindless vermin / scum / choose-your-own-expletive thought they'd spray some dross on garages at the back of our house. Not unusual some may say, but our 'estate' thankfully hasn't become like Hill Valley in Back To The Future II yet, and this was out of the ordinary.
Having really riled me, I fired off e-mails to the council and our local councillors, both of whom I'd never had reason to contact before. Had helpful responses from both promising action, although this manifested itself initially in a DIY graffiti removal kit which was delivered by a friendly PCSO last night. Thought I'd have a go at removing it today but was duly beaten to it by said council, who kindly sent some chaps around to remove the useless crap off the walls.
So a good result, and I'll do it all again if the w**kers come back and have another go. Councils, police etc get lots of negative comments, but today they came up trumps.
The only trouble now is that the unwashed bricks look filthy...
