Luddite

I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to art, but I realised today that I can appreciate art in the form of photography much more than any painting of nude cherubs swathed in cloth.

This was an exhibition at the Photographers' Gallery on the extraction, processing and impacts of oil in various places around the world. This was a huge discarded heap of crushed oil filters. Reminded me of those amazing books 'the Earth from the Air'.
