Towards Illgill Head, Wasdale

The weather was set fair for the morning and early afternoon so we decided to trek over to Wasdale - one of my favourite valleys and lakes.

It stayed grey for most of the day and we weren't sure we would get anything interesting.

This is looking back towards Illgill Head from Wasdale Head.

Home via Birker Fell but the view wasn't up to much as it was raining by then.
