The Last Shot

I spent about an hour, this evening, travelling around the north coast of Guernsey, wondering what the chances were of capturing a sunset ... but as forecast, the sun disappeared behind a bank of cloud long before it set ... I did manage to get one or two shots before it disappeared ... but nothing special ... :o/
Then, as I arrived back home, I noticed that the aforementioned cloud bank had broken up a little bit and that the sky was turning slightly red ...

So after all my efforts, I eventually took this picture about 20 yards from my front gate ... :o)
