Butterflies ......

At last ...the long awaited day. I feel as though I've been in a labour ward all day :) our first Painted Lady emerged from its chrysalis at about 9.20 am and by 3.30 pm we had 9!!!
Still loads to hatch and the photos aren't good but they are difficult to get through mesh.
The children have been so engaged and fascinated all day ...it's been fabulous. Real experiential learning. There's been a whole school engagement with even the cleaners all coming to see after school ended:)
Also been mums 89th birthday and we've been out for a lovely Italian. I am however shattered now and off to my bed.
