narrow boat "President" in Pageant

Numerous iconic images on TV today. We decided to take the time in our busy weekend after our return (see previous) to watch the Thames Pageant and were duly impressed and moved.

Today's blip had to be one of the TV images I snapped as souvenirs. It could have been the Royal Barge or any of numerous dramatic scenes amongst the 1000 boats.

Given my interest in canals and boats I chose a less obvious scene - that of narrow boat President passing beneath Tower Bridge. She is a famously restored working narrow boat - one of only a handful of steam powered boats on the canals.
