Big Seas...

After the cold storm which ripped through the country earlier this week, there have been some very high seas. Went down this morning to beach to have a nosy, and a coffee!!!! I love crashing waves.....

A way above the high tide mark, a casualty of the storm was quietly snoozing in the sun.  This is a juvenile NZ Fur Seal.....on of the locals in the cafe thinks it is a small female. She was very quiet and allowed us close for a few snaps......
