Close to Harvest

The dog and I took a very early frosty walk through the Burleigh Memorial Olive Grove this morning. The grove is along part of the banks of the Taylor River and is administered by the Returned Services Association. (RSA). The olives are close to harvest and the RSA is calling for volunteers to help with the harvesting this coming weekend. (Queen's Birthday Weekend). The olives produce fine Marlborough Olive Oil which is sold through the Clubs of Marlborough and raises funds for RSA charities.
