Uphall

I was the leader on this Wednesday's walk by Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers. (I previously posted a photo from the recce I did last week.) Our route started from Uphall and began with a 'there & back' walk up Binny Craig before a circular route took us along the Brox Burn, around the town of Broxburn, through the Uphall Community Woodland and back to our start-point.

We had twenty walkers out on a day that stayed dry until the last 20-30 minutes (thought we were going to make it back without getting wet!) but the real heavy stuff didn't come down until we were happily ensconced in the coffee shop at the end of our walk.
