Bourne’s Bank.

The three bottle kilns of Acme Marls stand alone at the bottom of Bourne’s bank in Burslem with St John’s Church in the back ground.    The tower of the church dates back to about 1536 and is famous for the grave of “The Burslem witch Molly Leigh”  a local legend about a a woman who was accused of witchcraft, and who’s grave faces north - south not the usual east-west.
