Distracted

A day of letting people know the news.
Did I share too much? I certainly missed some people I should probably have told. Maybe told some others that didn't feel they were close enough to hear the news. Is that a feature of social media? Acquaintances feel like friends because we know so much about their lives. Real friends get missed amidst the noise and chatter of our inner-connected lives.
Everyone I told was so supportive though, with offers of support and so much love and warmth. Did those responses encourage me to look for more, widening the circle, reaching out for more contact and connection?
All still a little unreal.
