Thursday Survived

After the fun of yesterday, Thursday took a leaf out of Monday's book and proceeded to be ... umm... unpleasant.

It may be a quarter to nine in the evening, but you, Thursday, have not won.  I think you'll find that I have a beer and you have Friday looking over your shoulder.

On a tangential note, "shoulder" was a word that I regularly flubbed as a kid.  It was more "soldier" than "shoulder".  Lorry & Lolly also posed similar problems.  And if I think too much about it, I cannot pronounce burglary at all.

And don't start me on how to pronounce the German word for "scene".  It's "Szene" but there's some sort of gap between the "S" and the "z" and I just can't do it.  Really.  4 years of this and I still can't do it.

Let's look at the pretty flowers and forget all about that.
