Robbers Den

I spent all morning catching up with paperwork but as the sun shone between the hail showers this afternoon I went back to the beech wood.

The light is still great in there although most of my shots were extremely green and I have spent a little more time trying to sort that in photoshop.

This are known locally as Robbers den has a very interesting and varied history. The robber in question seems to have been a MacVicar who lived, or maybe died, up here. He may , or may not, have been a robber. Whatever the truth is it's a great place and one I will tell you more about another time.
